fortissimo91,

Sounds like your player only has USB 1.1 (or some call it "USB 2.0 Full Speed" - which is different from "USB HIGH Speed").

USB 2.0 or USB High Speed is faster, but some of the cheaper manufacturers use the lower speed USB as it's cheaper.

What you could try though, just to be certain is:
1. Try transferring files from a different USB on you computer in case it's a problem with the USB port on the computer

2. Try another USB cable instead as well to see if that is the problem.

Hope that helps.

Your Onda VX858LE should be USB 2.0 (High speed) capable.
Are you sure your PC USB ports are set to High Speed Mode?
You may need to change the USB settings in your PC bios.

fortissimo91 , some USB cables are Full Speed and others are High Speed. The slower cable might be the FS one.
