Default Inovix iPocket 5500 Won't Dump Firmware

Hi, I bought an Inovix iPocket 5500 aka IMP-5500, It works fine when plugged in and I can take files and music on and off and play them on the player. The problem is that it won't be recognised by any of the firmware dumping tools or even by sigmatel's own firmware updating tool. I have tried it on my PC (Running Windows Vista x64) and my Laptop (Running Regular Windows XP). The chip has the following written on it"sigmatel, stmp350a, l1cse-cae, t036a4, 0808". Also many people have managed to modify this particular player so I was wondering if there is anything I should try. Thanks

peejeev , the is the Sigmatel extractor here http://www.mympxplayer.org/sigmatel-...tor-df195.html
and the uploader here http://www.mympxplayer.org/sigmatel-...der-df230.html

However, do be aware that Sigmatel players once bricked due to wrong/incompatible firmware updates, would be extremely difficult to recover.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
