New version s1clone out - any success with it?
 

I see there is a new release of s1clone out. (v1.2) - I believe in the tools section

I think it would be very useful if those lucky enough to have working players could create s1clone images and upload them.

I am in particular looking to fix a 2 inch screen (Glacier clone) player with AK1022 processor (which I believe is itself a clone of Actions ACU type processor), with a 1GB Samsung flash chip.

Has anyone used this new s1clone with any success? I'm sure feedback would be v useful for WiRE who has developed it and help him fix any bugs.

Succied on ACU7513 chip player once.

So far I have not succeeded in reviving my player. I am coming to conclusion that there is noone but me with an AK1022 based Glacier clone :( (or maybe all these players are dead!!)

However the new version (1.2) at least seems to write the image files to the flash whereas previous versions came up with semaphore errors.
