should i reclone my flash because my other one has alot of trash in it?

Please explain what you mean by a lot of trash. The clone file is a bit by bit copy of the contents of the flash so will look like a lot of random characters if you try & open it. What size is the clone file? The best way of getting the file small is to ensure you have minimum amount of files on your player and ideally have reformatted flash first. After you gey the clone file you can compress it using something 7z or zip.

i clicked on format my player before cloning but when it started cloning it said, format player failed so the file has all of my stuff i previously had on it.

All that will mean is that the clone file will be bigger (how big is it) and anyone successfully recovering will have your content. Unless file is huge (say over 500MB) or you have "embarrassing" material(!!??!!) it will not matter. Better if you are able to reformat first because file is smaller but thats only reason really.

ohh is 500mbs big, my file is only 289 and i thought that was already big. lol I dont have any "embarrassing" things on it, but i do have a few dumb vids on it. is it just me or is the glaciers mp4 has very less pixels, evey video i put on there is blurry, or is it just the converter?

I think the processor is barely capable of playing the vid, and the screens on the cloned players are probably cr@p anyway.

ok. even though its a mp4 player, the player itself is too shit to play any movies..... i got ripped off big time....

Hey guys, my player, also a glacier clone is dead and has some similar numbers, any idea what I can do as far as firmware? I tried the pack by alex2pb and got nothing. At some point I was trying a firmware and it froze at "displaying Communications Picture," and ever since, it fails to upgrade.

Do we have the same type?

I have recently received one of these glacier knock-offs. I read this post and completed the flash clone before I start the de-hacking process. My chip info came up as HYNIX/SAMSUNG A514D3AD.
