Change my Glacier's Mp4 Player's Memory Chip?
 

Well recently I bought a Glacier 2.0" Mp4 player off ebay. It was advertised as 4gb but was actually 1gb after the format and all.
What I would like to ask if it's possible to find a 4gb memory chip for this player and install that instead of the 1gb chip.

not unless you have an appropriate firmware file and have access to professional equipment. And even if you do I think it would not be cost effective and you would risk having a dead player.
Enjoy what you have or try to get a refund. Make sure you take an s1clone backup (see posts in http://www.mympxplayer.org/halitele-...p4-vt7862.html), and a note of firmware version.

Don't worry thats the answer i was expecting actually but it doesn't hurt to ask :)
The seller is going to refund me 10GBP and I get to keep the player so I guess it's actually a bargain considering that i bought it for 18GBP.
Tnks for the link I'll try to clone mine but I've been using it for a few weeks now, hope it won't matter that much.

BTW does anyone happen to know if it's easy to find a 4gb or 8gb mini sd card for the Temptation Mp4 player as I'm considering buying one but they seem to come only with 1gb or 2gb cards.

Stownio , commonly available mini sd cards are usually in the 1 or 2GB capacities. Though there are some 4GB and 8GB available on ebay. Do check out your local shops as they might stock up on larger capacity memory cards.

However, do check what is the capacity supported by the Temptation player, as most SD card players only support upto 2GB.

I reckon you got a good deal with the 10GBP refund, that makes your player cost only 8GBP, is that right? What is the seller? I would be tempted to buy knowing I was getting a hacked 1GB player but ultimately cost would only be 8GBP.
