Looking for vista skin firmware for Onda vx858LE
 

Does anyone know if there is a Vista skin firmware for the Onda VX858LE
version. I realize that its slightly diffrent from the VX858 version and Im not going to try and BRICK it by using a wrong firmware . Thanks

Well , if there is no vista skins for the VX858LE(V2) is there any other firmware upgrades , Ive gotten three of these , this one is the LE version version two and the other two are already skinned up . Ive checked the firmware on this player and its 00.00.00.00 . Is this the latest or is there a newer or better firmware that will enhance my player or even make it look better with newer skins without screwing it all up. I know there are some out there , not know where to look. Thanks/.

Onda VX858LE have 2 version V1 & V2 ... V2 is the one you have ... V1 have two firmwares 01.00.0032 and 01.00.0040... you can find this versions here FTP Onda.
Different version are due to changes in hardware but minor components, it have nothing to do with Rockchip processor, so there is no risk except that you could get some undesirable noises.
There is no doubt that your player is V2 by the number of firmware.
I visit frequently Onda BBS (I don't speak Chinese) if I found some firmware for your version I will post it here.
