How to download music to my player?

I am new to the mp3/mp4 players.

To my knowledge everything works on my mp3 player, especially the FM Radio. The problem I am having, is I can't figure out how to download music to it. Is there a software, that I need on my computer or do I need to update my firmware. I have no clue on this. I need help bad. I wish these came with some kinda of "Get you started guides" for newbies like me.

Other than this little problem, I love it.

Hi dimples78,

Welcome to the site.

You don't need any particular software to transfer files onto your player (like an iPod does). Treat your player as a USB Memory Stick. Put files and delete files from it like a USB Memory Stick.

When you plug it into your computer, it should come up as a "Removable Disk". Just transfer files/music/videos etc to it like you would within Windows using Windows Explorer. This gives you more flexibility than iTunes for example.

Hope that helps.

Thank you so much. I also did the remove memory hack guide. Then I did what you said and it starting working. Thanks again so much.
