Default [solved] downloading files to mp3 player

I just bought an MP3 player and am a new user.

This question may sound stupid, but how do I copy files into a particular folder on my MP3? I copied a number of songs onto the player and they went into the Music folder. Now I would like to copy pictures and videos onto the player but they will not transfer into the proper folder.
Any suggestions?

bon9005,

Are you getting any error messages hen they are not transferring?

So you can transfer Mp3 players fine?
Do you currently have any other folders in your MP3 player?

What happens if you try copying the videos and pictures directly into the root of your player (and not under a folder), does that work?

Hi,

No I am not getting any error messages that they are not downloading.
When I connect the mp3 player to my computer through the USB cable, I can see the files have copied to the mp3 player but when I click under the video folder, the files that have copied are not in that folder and I am not sure how to move them there.

When I first connected the mp3 player to the computer, I reconfigured the mp3 player (as instructed). On the mp3 player, it showed Music, Video, Radio etc... folders.

On my Desktop, under drive "F", I had to create actual file folders called Music, Video, Radio etc. and then drag and drop files into the appropriate folders. Then when I chose the folder on the mp3 player, the files I downloaded were in their proper place on the player.

No where in the instructions did it indicate this and being a first time user, I was not sure how to proceed. But after some thought, as I mentioned, I figured it out.

Thank you for following up.
