my computers saying my mp3 it has only 1 mb

i just got my mpx and it has 4gb for 25 dollers
my brother also got one from the same guy also 2 of my cousins
with them came a slip of paper saying go to my computer then rigth click
the player
and say format
leave everything normal but check the quick box.
then i added my music and videos in all 1 gb
it even said on the computer its 4 gb
then i use it it works normally
but then i wanted to add some more videos
i open it it says i have to format
i did what i did last time but it says it will earse everything
i say yes any way
then it shows nothing but a file named δ<ÉMSDOS.5.0
so i unplug it
and the music is still there and videos and it says i have 3 gb left
then i add my brothers songs without formating
and i unplug it then i replug it and the music still there unlike mine
and his song s are in artist and mine is in alphabitical
so i earsed my songs
put my music in artist
replug it and install it
thgen my computer says i only have 1 mb



i also tried that hacked player thing but rdiskutilty says that it did not ditect a removable disk

purelink9 , what is the player's firmware version number? You can check this by going to the System/Settings menu, and selecting Firmware Version.

Also, what version of MP3 Utilities did you install for formatting the player?

It is extremely likely that the memory chip is corrupted due to a memory hack. Currently the wholesale prices for a legit 4GB memory chip alone is about USD$25. Considering you paid only $25, it is likely to be hacked.

by downloading something
and i figured out it does have 4 gb
