Default I Think I'ts Called A Black Hawk - Got a few issues with it!

So It's a black PMP Mp4 player with a 2.8" screen and silver buttons.
Also called a PSP Mini I think.

There's some things I can't figure out:
-The speaker is always on even with headphones plugged in!?
-It shows AV IN on the bottom but how to view/ Record Video?
-The power on takes FOREVER, well, 5 seconds at least to hold button.
-Can't change volume in Games?

relaxxx , i have a similar player with similar problems as yours. Although i don't have the speaker problem like yours.

The player records videos by its built in camera. I don't think you can record via the AV socket.

Sometimes it's quick and sometimes it's slow to startup. Can't find a way around it.

The volume apparently is not able to change during Games. Only music and video, i could change it.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Looks like I might have to take this thing apart and modify it with a speaker switch of some type. Phone jack should have a speaker cut-off, I'm almost positive.

Audio Solved!!!

Well I was just about to attempt to rewire the key lock switch to cut off the speakers and I realized that the FM radio only outputs to the headphones so the issue is definitely in the software. Then, by pure accident I discovered that if you plug the headphones into the AV IN jack it cuts out the speakers! So that works for me!

I did have the PMP apart and I'm glad I did because I discovered a MAJOR design flaw that will cause these units to eventually fail!!!

There is absolutely no circuit board support behind the 8 main buttons. I noticed these buttons push in too far and just didn't feel or work right. This is because the buttons actually force the main board to bend back every time you press them!

What I did was build up some layers of stiff cardboard and duct tape to the back of the motherboard on each side behind the buttons until it was the same height as battery in the center so that the back case could support the board and transfer the pressure of the buttons being pressed. I also added 4-6 layers of duct tape behind the buttons themselves to raise them out and respond better because they still sunk in too far. Now the buttons feel 500% better, some games are actually playable and I'm not slowly destroying the mobo with each press!
