switch between "LOADING" and MAIN MENU in 1 second
 

Hello there, I have this lovely "not well known player" working almost perfectly: Plays the music, the videos and so long.

The bad thing happened when I recently attempted to plug it (as usual) to the USB port.

It started to switch between the "LOADING" interface and the MAIN MENU in 1 second periods, and the computer didn't detect it at all. I tried to plug it in other computers and it behaves in the same way.

The battery loads while plugged, but nothing else.

I thought it was the USB cable, but the weird switching is pretty regular, still... I don't know.

Does somebody know what happens? Do I have to open it? Do I have to flush it?

HOW CAN I RECOVER MY PLAYER?

do you have windows media player installed? if so do you have it set to auto sync devices when its open?

i had a similar issue this past weekend and it was due to windows media player trying to "sync" the files.

btw, i hate windows media player

Well, thanks for answering but no, media player is not the problem. I even connected the device to a old IBM Pentium without the annoying MP and the same thing happened.

I don't know what it is.

Could it be the USB cable?

parasitedotworm , do try with another USB cable as some cables that come with players are faulty and causes connectivity problems.
