Error trying to back up firmware with s1fwx
Dears, I have a Textel mp4 player with 1gb of memory. When I record a voice sound it record it inside /RECORD/MUSICS.
But When I try to play that it tells me that the disk is empty. So I tought it can be recording in a place and trying to read from another. I've seem that we can personalize the firmware so I was trying to download fix it. Is it really possible to do that? anyway, when I run s1wx I got this error: $d connect to device 'D:\'... init device... set device to f-mode... get info from device... ic version = 0x0000 storage info = 0x0602, 0x0000, 0x0000, 0x0000 device = 'S1 Mp3 Player' manufacturer = 'Wilson Co. Ltd.' bootflash type = 'F285' brom version = 3.0.80 firmware version = 9.0.48 read boot record... detect firmware size... error: The system cannot read the specified device. disconnect from device... Press any key to continue... thanks in advance! |
denismpa , S1fwx only works for v9.0.43 and below. Your player is using v9.0.48, so is unable to extract the firmware.
i'll suggest a format on your player first using MP3 Utilities Disk Tools here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html See if the problem still continues after formatting. |
