Default Reformat all the time and files are corrupted

Ok, I bought this generic mp3/4 player.

I used the amv convert tool to convert mpeg files. I selected them to go to desktop, then plugged in the player to pc and tried placing the converted files into the new disk that came up, nadda zip. I have to reformat it everytime too and it says files are corrupted but they aren't...?

So, I have no clue how to get any music or videos on the player and when I do where will they be in the player? under music will the just music only ones be there or videos. I tried downloading a user guide and read through it but it did not help me at all.

What I need is how to convert stuff with that amv where should I output the file to? and how to get on the new disk? should I drag the file in there or send it to there..
I am totally lost have had this player for four weeks and not gotten to use it at all anyone who can give me step by step on how to I would be sooo happy!

notgoodatanything , you might want to firstly format your player using MP3 Utilities Disk Tools, the guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html

For the AMV Convert Tool, you can just output the newly converted files to anywhere on your pc. Once it has been converted, just copy and paste the files into your player's drive. The player would be able to pick up the video files that you copied in.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Default Re: Major Problems with mp3/4 player HELP!!

You are the BOMB! Ok, one more question.

I did that hacked player thing posted on this site. I found it said 944mb

I am not great at knowing if this is good or bad. But, it is supposed to be a 2gb. So, is this hacked too. I did ask another guy that bought one before me said something about it being hacked and he actually sent me where to look which was on here.

*Note* I have to say again lol.....This IS the first time I have been able to get music on this player, I was beginning to sweat lol since it is a gift for my daughter. Thank you thank you thank you for this

notgoodatanything , unfortunately your player was hacked. A 1GB chip hacked to look like 2GB. That's the reason for the file storage problems as you are trying to copy files into the capacities that did not physically exist at all.

You might want to file for a partial refund with paypal (if you used it).

Oh, how wonderful. Oh, and you can bet I will be contacting the seller for sure. I guess in a way we get what we pay for if we shop for a generic brand, but there is no reason for their misrepresentation of a product we hold to "As They Describe." And, if I buy a 2gb that is what I want.

Thank you for this information. I will make sure and come back to sign the thing about hacked players being sold on ebay, also.
