madbear , is your player working properly?

If not, do you still remember the previous working version?

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

I was in your bout this week. My mp3 player is similar but a bit different. The keys were the same but the screen is smaller and it is 1gb.

To be honest with you i could not find a firmware for mine. You see i bout two of these players, so i had a spare one. What i did with the spare was i cloned the firmware and installed it on my broken one. The program i used was S1clonev13 which you can download from this address: http://s1mp3.de/download.html#s1clone

If you dont have another working identical player what i sugest you do is download the program i mentioned and try to clone your firmware from your broken player. This is not going to fix it but whilst cloning your firmware you will get the microchips codes which will be extracted. This might increase your chanses in finding a firmware.

Goodluck dude. Hope you the best.

I tried to use software from you link, but it can't detect player! I think, this software not suitable for my player. Unfortunately, i have no identical player.

Please tell me how to connect to player in recovery mode! I tried this methods:

Quote:
Boot mode is like: Menu_while connecting USB>Vol_quick press after releasing menu button>rewind>menu>forward
Another is like: Rewind_while connecting USB>Vol_quick press after pressing rewind for 1 sec and release.
But both of them - no reaction, stupid ordinary loading.( May be I do something wrong?

Please give me direct link to your uploaded firmware, I can't find it in download section!.((

Thank you!

Hi madbear,

I have a very similar looking player. It says IZOD on the back. Mine is a 4gig and it says it uses 9.1.52 version of firmware. It's currently working though it can be a bit glitchey sometimes when trying to load new files on to it. I also need to know how to back up the firmware and reformat it. I downloaded the tool to reformat it but it doesn't seem to see that I have a 4gig drive. Anyway maybe if we can help each other we can both win. I'll upload my firmware if I can figure out how to copy / extcract it. Do you know how to do that?
