button does not work.
hey guys,
I got a mp4 player shipped to me, brand new. i had it in my hand and someone threw a set of keys at me..i tried to catch them with the same hand as my mp4 and they pushed in the 'back' button. Im wondering if i can change another button to act as the 'back' button? it is important because i accidentally sped up the player (a function in it) and i cant make the songs go at normal speed without the back button. I tried to get the button fixed but it doesnt work ..its messed internally if you need more information just ask.thanks |
well, if you have taken the player apart and there appears to be no damage to the button and sensor and board under the button, then you player is pretty much broken.
if you havent taken it apart, do so, and see if you can push the back button with the actual sensor under the button. good luck |
Re: button does not work.
well do you mean the actual button underneath the button on the top or something even under that?
Does anyone know of it can be done through software/firmware altering? |
rameez,
There might be a possiblity of alerting the buttong configuration but it depends on your player's firmware and what chipset it uses as it's not compatible with all firmware versions and chipsets. It might be 'safer' to see if you can fix the button by taking your player apart than playing around with the firmware as that could render your player completely 'dead' which means, none of the buttons will work, nor the player :(. |
heye ramiz
ya my button also got stuck (that was theforword button) it was a simple soldring operation that was performed to replace it. go to saddar they will replace it (most probably) by the way whats ur mp4 player like ?? |
