Windows can't recognise sometime
 

Hi I have this player:

My pc can't recognise it sometime. It works whenever it wants to. Sometime when I connect to usb port, the Removable Drive window keeps popping up and the green arrow thingy keeps appearing and disappearing at the bottom right corner near clock. It gives error when it can't work properly saying "USB Device Not Recognised. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognise it...

I don't understand why it works fine and at sometimes it doesn't. Can someone suggest me whats the problem? Should I update my firmware? If so, which firmware?

Sorry forgot to mention its 1 GB player.

loneranger , try using another USB cable. It is likely that the cable might be faulty.
