Need help replacing battery...

I just got my new battery which is a 330mAH for my ipod clone 1.8 2nd gen. I thought after reading a lot of topics about opening and installing batteries for ipod nano 2nd gen was easy. Once I got my battery, I try to open it but its not the same! it said it has four screws but mine doesn't. It has two screws on the bottom which I took off but the top has none and What I see when I try to take it off is its somehow connected throughout the body! when I start to take it off somehow its moving the whole board along with it and its very very stiff and I was worried if I continue to force it out something might break. Is this suppose to happen? or am I forgetting something? I am a little cautious about this.

it is possible that the batter has been double sided taped to the board, my batter was on my chipod.

if you have removed all screws, and your 100% sure you have, then just pry the battery off the board with some sort of PLASTIC or WOOD item, maybe a plastic knife?

Ok I am sure i got rid of all of the screws but it got stuck half way. Maybe force more? Also it seems sliding slow like it has a lots of glue or something.

that would be the double sided tape i bet.

just be carefull. adding some heat from a hair dryer might help too.

I gots it!

It was glued on the buttons and also on the white thing that I was pulling it out of... and the battery was "FOAMED" on the circuit board O.O. But apparently I got the wrong battery. Mine was a 3.7V 180mAH (crappy) and I got an ipod battery 3.7V 330mAH and worst part... my new battery is too huge >< any ideas how to fit it in??

DeltaFX , it would not be possible to install a larger battery if the internal board and battery does not slide in properly. The only way to solve this is to get a smaller or similar sized battery as the original one.

Is there a battery that would fit my player? or any ideas where to get it? because I really want to upgrade it to have more than 3 hours of play.

DeltaFX , the only safest way to ensure a good fit is to physically measure the maximum allowable space for the battery, or simply measure the battery itself.

Next, you'll want to search for a battery of the same or smaller dimensions. Some sellers on ebay includes the dimensions in their ads. Alternatively, you can try your local hobby store, and they might have an RC model battery that might fit your player. Though they are usually very much more expensive.
