Default 4 GB MP4 Player turns out to be 1 GB?

My original problem was that I put 36 folders (2.51 GB) with music onto my "4 GB" player and when I went into the root directory of the player, I could only see about 12 music folders.

I found this forum today and have been looking around and my guess is that my player is a 1 GB one. Thing is I can't do the procedure to remove the memory hack. When I go to the MP3 player disk manager to format, it comes up with "Not supporting this type disk!"

Click the image to open in full size.

From the start I formatted the player in "MY computer" by right clicking on the drive and choosing "Format". It is formatted as FAT32.

Now, when I choose "Properties" when right clicking on the drive, it comes up with this:

Click the image to open in full size.

making it look like a 4 GB player but when I go to the MP3 disk manager and choose the "Partition & Encrypt" tab, this comes up:

Click the image to open in full size.

saying that the player's capacity is just under 1 GB.

I'm pretty disappointed, I bought a player for myself and 2 for friends from Exhallyed on Ebay.

More info about my player:

MP3 Player firmware upgrading tool:
Device name: S1 Mp3 Player
Productor: Wilson Co. Ltd.
Version: 9.0.50

Setup on player:
Firmware Version:
LG MP3 PLAYER
ZX693A
CM60022
2007/05/18
ACT_V9.0.50

I was using MP3 player utilities 4.00 and downloaded version 4.05 from here, still can't format the player using this software.

It's hacked, that's for sure. Why can't the MP3 player utilities format it? It's probably a more clever hack, keep trying.
