Default My MP4 player does not show the files stored in it.

Hello,

I did something (upgrade to MP3 Player utilities 4.00) to my MP4 player and now I can not "see" the songs, videos or photos that I have stored in it. Apparently those files are still there, as the player says it has used 68% of its 1951 Mb memory.

I added some new mp3 songs to check performance, and these I can "see" and play back. FM works fine. I have not tried other functions, but they all seem to be there (phone book, voice recording, text reader, picture, etc..)

What can I do to solve this problem?
I have been searching for a solution, but have read about "solutions" that result in more problems, and even the killing of the player.

I appreciate your help.

The player is an "ipod nano clon" type, with 2Gb memory. Other details of my MP4 player, taken from "SYS Setup":
firmware version MP3 PLAYER SD85512A
2006/02/14
ACT V3.5.35
