Default 2GB 2.8" LCD Touchscreen MP3 MP4 Player

Can someone help me please. I have just brought the above player from Ebay it is a no name brand, but says Samsung flash memory. The message I get on my computer says it needs a device driver that has met the designed for Microsoft Windows XP logo requirements. And, error reading setup initialization file. I cannot upgrade firmware, and I am getting more and more angry cos I dont know what to do. Someone help! PLEASE!!!

You don't need to upgrade the firmware. You shouldn't try to upgrade the firmware.

So i take it your computer doesn't recognize your player as a removable disk or what? Coz these things generally work without a driver.

do you gave a spare usb cable

many times these cheap players send with rubbish usb cable.

you do not need to do anything more than just plug the cable into the player and then into the computer it should recognise it automatically

try another cable - this often solves this problem
