Problems with 1GB iPod Shuffle Clone Clip MP3 Player
I have a new 1GB Clip MP3 Player which is pretty much an iPod Shuffle Gen 2 Clone.
It currently has used 560MB and has 415MB free, so the total capacity is 975MB. When I try to add new music it shows this error: http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/7633/errornu9.jpg P.S I made the file called song if anyone was wondering.. It is only 1GB so I doubt it's a hacked player, is there anything I can do to try and fix this problem so I can put more music onto it? Oh, it is currently formatted in FAT. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. 8) |

Hi nzer_4_lyf,
How many songs do you have currently in the root of the player? Try putting them into folders then add your new songs and see if that works. I know some players have a limit of 99 files in one folder (ie: root of the player) and it won't allow more. Otherwise try formatting your player to see if that helps. |
Hi admin :)
It currently has 128 songs in the root directory. When I try to make a new folder it says this: http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/3...ror2vd1.th.jpg What file system should the player be formatted in; FAT or FAT32? Should I format it via My Computer or via MP3 Player Utilities? I deleted 1 song from it then I was able to transfer one new song, it seems it has a limit to 128 songs which is really annoying! |
Ok, so I deleted some songs from it then made a new folder, guess what, it now has 665MB of music.
I haven't tested it yet though but since it has no screen will it work with directories? Thanks for your help so far admin! |
