mp4 player not recognised now
 

my computer recognised the player yesterday. and wont today. whats wrong?? please help im so disappointed. and ive only had it two days. theres no obvious problem with the usb lead because when i plug the player in it turns on and lights up. just my computer doesnt see it anymore. my os system is windows xp although, since it worked fine yesterday, i dont think its my computer either.

its a 1gb one

i was even told that rolling back my media player to version ten would help and it didnt. also ive tried every usb port on my computer, and still nothing

ive even installed the drivers for the dam thing and thats not made any difference either. its going in the bin if no one can help

sammieb , try using another USB cable as sometimes these cables are faulty.
