Default Do I need a new firmware for my MP4?

First to thank all who might give me a good answer to my question. My MP4 is Diva fx-55 and I don't really know which oof the firmware from this site http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-firmware-dc42.html is proper for it and if it will only cause more damage to my MP4 than fix my problem. As I mentioned under the topic my FM Radio doesn't work like it has to (I am trying to run it with my headphones with the MP3 so the reason of this problem isn't because there is no antena). Whenever I try to find a radio station manually or holding on the button to quickly load the next station there is only the noise and very rarely when I click on multiple buttons at the same time I can hold to an station  .The auto-search doesn't work like it is supposed to and doesn't fnd anything. Is there a way to reset the settings of the MP4 and where can I find the official firmware and if I can't which of the firmware that are found here can I use to fix my problem and be sure that everything will go wrong. Please help because I can't think of anything that can help me fix the problem :?

I am sorry to say there is no firmware that would fix your problem, you are right to think it will only cause more damage to your MP4 and would probably kill your player all together.

Operating the radio takes practice, but it should be possible to save a station, but it is very tricky to explain, best to play with the controls using trial and error till you get the hang of it.

Did you try to set your radio to a different FM region?, the default is chinese, go into the settings menu and change the region to europe, should be OK for Bulgaria.

The player uses the earphone cable as an antenna so these need to be plugged in all the time for the radio to get a signal.

Lastly the Fm radio is these players is not very sensitive so don't expect good reception except for strong stations.

Hope this works for you.

Well actually I did try it and some times it worked  (but by sometimes I mean not more than 2 or 3 times (setting the region)). The problem is I don't know when the problem first occured and I think that in the first few days there wasn't such a thing until there was an error while I was transfering files on the MP3/4 (nothing is wrong with the MP3/4 it was because I connected it through the keyboard and I guess the contact wasn't very good). Also I had the stations saved and after that problem ( but I'm not sure this is the real reason just guessing) Iswithched through the saved frequencies but it was as if the radio didn't search anythin and stayed on the same frequency (that also happens when by pressing multiple buttons at the same time I somhow manage to hear a radio station and after I begin to change the frequencies no matter on what frequency I am I'm still hearin the same Rado Station). Can I somehow reset the MP3/4 to the so called maybe factory settings  (Maybe if I leave it without a battery for some time like half a day) . Or can I get the official firmware from somewhere?

Edit: I'll have to go to sleep now and tommorow I won't be here so thon't expect me to answer but still please try to help. I don't know if I can go and change the MP3/4 I bought it after Christmas but I still have the guarantee. Maybe they will help me who knows but I prefer to try and do something myself (not of course to ruin the MP3/4's firmware  ) Thanks to all again.

Both my Rockchip players will only save settings if I switch off holding down the Play/pause button, if I switch off using the on/off slider switch then any changes I made recently are lost.

Maybe this is your problem, the settings are not lost altogether using the on/off switch, just the recent settings, To save your setting just shut down the player by holding the play/pause button, hope you understand what I mean!

You can set the player to default settings by going into "Settings" from the main menu.

No I've done that too. I guess I'll go and talk with the shop assistant if I can switch it with another model or pay my money back ( I doubt the second one dough ). I don't think I want to stay with this one it is too cheap and probably isn't with a very good quality. And the clips of the films are with AMV format which is very annoying because at first I had to convert through another converter different from the one with the cd ( at least until I began to use one of the converters from this site ). So can someone suggest me a nice MP4 from these or sommething else.

The first one looks like it is best because the controlling is better but the problem is that first I'm not sure if there is a radio on diva fx-62 ( because of another link) and there is no option to save voice. The second player looks a bit better from the first but I don't know the video formats and I'm not sure if mpeg4 is better than xvid and because of the controls ( is that a stick with which it is controlled or not  ) and there is no indication about the battery life and it is with SD/MMC slot and the display is 2.0" ( but the first and last things don't look so important to me except if there iss a problem with converting).
Please help me pick one of them ore suggest another model. Here is something to help you compare them.

Thanks to all and especially to knob who was so nice to answer so fast and gave good suggestions how to fix the problem. So I've desided to change the MP4 so please don't give suggestions how to fix the old one ( it sucks  at least for me)

SORRY ABOUT THE BIG LINKS BUT I'M NOT USED TO WRITING IN FORUMS ops:

I like the Diva FX 62 1GB best, It is a copy of the Teclast C260 a bit like UXCELL's Omega VX88, but you would need to convert your video's to .avi format and you might not want to do that.

I don't have a touch control player myself, mine just has the normal buttons.
You might be better off with the Diva FX 70 с 1GB, that can handle Fm recording if that's important to you.

I have never had a problem with FM radio, they always come set to China, I just changed the region setting to Europe.

Only Teclast players have the menu like in the photo, the Diva FX 62 would be a different looking menu probably like the Omega VX88.

Another member lokster has the FX 62, it does have a FM radio, here's some info:-
