Windows doesn't recognize player when plugged into USB

^How can you tell the diference? It's not working for me either. I dont even think its charging.

to check whether its charging or not see if the battery indicator is moving.....(When u connect d cable & switch d player ON ,d firmware upgrade screen would be displayed with a battery indicator....)

if its not charging , den dere is a problem in d cable or d port pins in d cable....
