Default Firmware 9.1.52 - i have it and want to help but...

Hi,
i have a no name mp4 with fake 4gb size - real 2gb with games and NO fm.
I did not do any firmware upgrade cuz i read here the troubles that comes with it,
so i want to help you guys cuz i read many need this 9.1.52 firmware to repair their wrong firmware upgrade.
My mp4 firmware is:

2007/06/06
9.1.52

ACT2097 S75
2007/07/24

Now my question, where can i find the files from this firmware?
When i connect the mp4 with my pc i can only see my mp3 and videos but no cfg or fv, etc. files

I am one of the people looking for this firmware. My understanding from reading these forums is that you will have to use S1Clone.exe to read this firmware properly. This file is available in the downloads section of this site. Evidently this works with 9.x.xx firmware. There is a check box to allow you to format the player, MAKE SURE THIS IS NOT CHECKED!

When you have compiled the firmware file you can verify the file to ensure that the dump worked.

I am not sure about this next bit but I remember reading somewhere that even with some verification errors the firmware file still works.

Even if no-one wanted this file it is still good practice to have a firmware dump from your own player, just in case....

The administrators ask that anyone with a firmware file upload it to this site.

Let me know if it works. Thanks

ok i found the tool
but i read this in the tool description:
"it's always recommended to do a backup of your player's firmware, but avoid writing to your device as long as it still seems to work"
and
"I recommend that if you own a 9 series player that you use the tool to create a backup of your players memory. Be aware though that your player will first be formatted in order to decrease the size of the backup image so be sure to remove any files you wish to keep before running the program."

So do i need to format my player? ((
Today after killing the stupid memory hack, i copy paste 2-3h new mp3 on my mp4 and now its working perfect, so is there another way-a simple way-to give you my firmware?
Cuz i dont wanna do this copy paste again but if there is no other way i will

EDIT:
Ok i tried it, but i cant find my firmware on my mp4---> http://s2.directupload.net/images/080104/vnsbbx4x.jpg
this are my files, there is no firmware file
s1clone says first of all read your mp4 player to choose my firmware on my mp4 player, HAH where is the firmware???

This is my third edit of this reply!
I didnt read all the mail.
Note to myself: READ ALL THE MAIL!

The firmware is in a protected memory space and is not visible. That is why you have to use the firmware downloading utility. Be sure to use the S1Clone tool as it is the only one capable of downloading the firmware file on 9.x.xx players!

It can get around the visibility issue and download the firmware. You still cannot see it on the Player but when the firmware file has been downloaded, you can see the saved file.

One player I have died. That is the one I am looking for the firmware for. I bought a new one from Chinavasion and it works flawlessly. Its a 4gb and I now have 3.7gb on it. I backed up the firmware on the unit. I did NOT format it.

A simple rule here is IF IT 'AINT BROKEN DON'T FIX IT!

I guess you can do the same. I have to admit that I did not try to reboot the unit by restoring the backup!

It will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour to perform the firmware dump.

There is another tool, I dont know much about it, its called MP3 Player Product Tools 4.19. Its supposedly what the professionals use. I think this is also available on this site. DO NOT USETHIS TOOL. I read on the video related section that this 4.19 is dangerous
