MP4 Watch Not Recognized by Computer

Can anyone help on this problem.

I have a Ailun brand MP4 watch watch from China that has the 1.8" screen, metal case and band, and speaker. (It looks exactly like the one sold on the tvonmywrist.com site except mine has slightly round speaker at the band connection.) It supports NX-AVI video.

Problem: When I connect the watch to the usb, a window pops up on the computer screen saying "usb device not recognized." I tried doing this first w/o the device driver contained on the MP4 CD, and then after I loaded the driver (it is an executible file that loads the driver) but I get the same error message either way. I see the proper USB connection symbol on the MP4 screen.

I tested all the leads on the USB cable and they are ok.

Anyone know what I should do now? I'm pretty computer savy but this has me stumpted.

Thank you,
Bob Norman

Hi Bob,

Just some questions:

1. What operating system are you using?
2. When you plug your player into ANOTHER computer, does it come up with the same problem?

In the past, there has been a few incidences with computers not detecting MP4 players due to a faulty USB cable. Can you get hold of another USB cable to try to see if that fixes the problem?

I had the same problem with my player..
Its either a Usb cable damage
or ur player does not support USB 2.0
Try connecting it to a USB 1.1 port.
