Hi sumtin,

Some questions:

1. How long have you had this player?
2. So it's only done it recently whereas before it was working fine?
3. Is your player under warranty still?
4. If you leave it charging using the wall charger overnight, does that work?
5. How are you charging your player?

Look forward to your answers.

Ive had it for about a week now.

Yes it was workin perfectly, then when I turned it on the next morning it started.

Yes I think its under warranty, didnt think to check it honestly.

I tried leaving it on the wall plug and in the usb port.

I usually charge it in the USB port.

am I doin summin wrong?

sumtin , might be a case of a bad battery. If you leave it connected to the computer via USB or charging via AC adaptor, does the player work fine? If so, then it would be with the battery.

ahh kkies, but even when its hooked up to the AC or PC it still goes dead when I try to go to the song list or the radio or anything else.

Format your player...i have a mp3 (Titan 1Gb) with equal problem: Power On -> Hello! -> Good Bye!

I replace battery, clean all hardware...but nothing
Finally...insert the player in my pc, see as flashdrive and then format in FAT,and now is fine an alive

I found the format tool and Formatted to FAT system, but no luck.

The play button might be sticking to the board, causing it to turn off after you started it. If you try to turn it on again, does it respond immediately or does it take a while to?

Anyway, there's some sort of hardware error. I think you'd be better off checking the warranty, see if you can get a replacement.
