Screen locked and text "Powerkey+sideupkey unlock"

Got this player yesterday (without manaul) and was working fine, dont know what I done to the setup. Now when power up got a screen with a lock and text "Powerkey + sideupkey unlock". Can't do anything else.

Does anyone know what is a "sideupkey"? so I could unlock the screen. Thanks.

Hi sschsu,

Can you post photos of your player?
Please included the sides and back as well.
There may be a special button you have to press to unlock it.

Have you also tried contacting the seller about this problem?

Connect it to USB and put some music on, see if it clears the lock.

sschsu,
maybe your player has a key-pad lock feature
like those found in cellular phones.

try to do what admin asked you to do
so we can help you on what to do.

i think your player is asking you for a keypad combination
to unlock your player

Well that's what it actually does.

My Sigmatel player unlocks with a touch of the Power button. Try pressing the Power button and one of the directional keys at the same time. It shouldn't be long till you find the right one.
