i need firm ware for i pod nano clone

i tried to installl the firmware to my mp3/mp4 player but i can t , i did every step that driver cd has but i think the last step is missing beacause the message said need bootmanager.sb/binary .... i dont know want is the brand of it but it uses installshield wizard , sigmatel mtpmscn firmware dowload ..i need this program for download the music to my mp3/mp4 ...someone who knows how to solve the problem ?

Hi anniem,

Is there a reason why you want to update the firmware on your player? Is it having problems or are you trying to get some new features from it?

I highly recommend NOT trying to update your player's firmware as the risk of having a dead player is high and the effort in reliving it is not worth the risk.

I'm having the exact same problem with the same player. The CD that came with the device has an incomplete installer. The problem with the player that I'm having is that sometimes when I transfer files, they get corrupted. Some of the mp3 tags get lost and somehow this makes the file unplayable. In addition, it will only show three folders maximum, which means that if you have more than that on the drive (many playlists, for example), the only way you can access them is to flip through a long list of songs until you reach the additional music.'

Essentially, the player does not work well enough to be used without a firmware update, or some kind of driver that will allow the computer to interface with it better.
