My Chipod MP4 Player hangs windows explorer on USB connectio

Hello,

It only happens in one computer. Because Iīve plugged in in other PCīs and it works properly. And both computer run under the same operated System (Windows XP SP2).

When I plug in the MP4 on the USB connection, the explorer recognize it properly, but when I start to xopy something to/from the PC, it hans the windows explorer.

Iīve not installed any driver, because the system recognize well the MP4 as Flash memory.

Thank you

frnnd,

Have you tried FORMATTING the player first?

Try that first, perhaps there is a corruption in the memory block your Windows doesn't like.

Remember to back things up before the format though.

Thanks admin,

but the problem is in the operated system of this PC. Because if I plug in into any other PC, the MP4 works properly. Also, I should reinstall any driver in this PC. But I donīt know why, because in both computer I have Windows XP installed.

I will go searching on.

Thank you

I think the problem is in the computer's USB hardware, not in the operating system.
