change FW MP4 Player 3.5.35 to 3.5.37 ?

Hello from Germany.

I will change Firmware 3.5.35 to 3.5.37. The Skin is ugly and Player is so slow. My second MP4-Player has 3.5.37 and is very faster.

existing FW:
SC 85051C
ACT_V3.5.35
2006/3/29

Board ID:
MP693CSL Main V1.3

Chip:
ATJ2085W

Flash:
Samsung 619
K9WAG08UIA

I find some Versions in Download Section but Im not sure which Version is right.

I check some 3.5.37 Versions but nothing works.

Which FW can i use?

Thanx. TranceCat

sorry for my english

TranceCat , if your player works, do not perform any upgrades as usually you would end up bricking your player instead. The firmwares are hardware dependent and each firmware was made for a particular hardware configuration for that player.

yes i know. but is it strange, the hardware in both players is identic.
board, chip, flash, accu its all the same. the dump from player 1 will not work on player 2.

i found the firmware PMA300(latest version 3.5.35) and this works pretty good and fast on player 2 and looks like as FW 3.5.37.

actually i m happy with this version but the lcd is too light. in the lcd-settings is brightness always on 3. i go to 0 but display is still too light.
i change the screen contrast with Firware_Modifer to 8, to 5 and to 0 , but after new fw-flash is absolutly nothing changed. basic position in lcd-set/brightness is always 3.

i have this tested 5 times.

TranceCat , even with the same processor, some other smaller components might be different. This is the reason why many people have extreme difficulty in trying to recover their dead players.

As for the brightness problem, it would be likely that the firmware is not fully compatible for your player.
