Default How to extract 9.1.52 firmware

hi,

i have an ipod nano 3rd generation clone 1,8". it was stuck at the hour glass screen, so i did the "dead player recovery". now i'm able to upload firmware. i tried finding the correct firmware for one week but none of them worked.

so i took the mp4 player of my friend which is exactly the same (we orderd together) and wanted to extract the firmware via the s1fwx tool and upload it to my dead player. this has to be the right firmware.

the problem is, that the firmware is 9.1.52, which cant be extracted with this tool. it always says "failure, unknown firmware".

is there any other way i can extract this firmware? other tools, or somehow manually?

some information to the firmware/player if you need it:

Ipod Nono Clone 3rd Gen 1,8"
Firmware: TJD_1223_20 9.1.52
Written on a chip inside: AK1025

greetings from germany, philipp

hi,

i could extract the flash of the working one. its an 80mb big file. but when i try to write it onto my dead player with s1clone, my computer (brandnew, windows vista) always shuts down with some critical error that ive never seen before.
is there any other programm which can write the flash-copy to my dead player?

Hi Guys,

I had a similar problem, now i have found a SW Version for my IPOD NANA CLONE, but it works to 90%, because i have a brand new Clone with the Original IPOD Connector with this SW it works but my keyboard ist not fit 100%.

http://en.s1mp3.net/

Search for BO-25002 or try any BO_AK1025 Version
