Default 4GB MP4 player crashing and rebooting quite often

Hi all,

I have a 4GB MP4 player with 1.5" screen. It's running v9.0.50 firmware now. Which one is the latest compatible software for it please? This thing has a habit of crashing and rebooting quite often.

Model LG MP3 Player LS101V12

I also have a 2GB version of this player. Can I use the same firmware?

Thanks

Hi wildwild,

If your player has a habit of crashing and rebooting, I would strongly suggest FORMATTING your player to see if that helps solve the problem.

Try formatting through Windows or using the guide here: http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html.

Try that and let me know if that solves anything. Generally a firmware update doesn't fix that kind of problem.

I have done that already and they are not hacked. I think the MP3 songs are a bit suspect so the player crashes as a result.

Humm, I haven't seen a 'suspect' MP3 song crashing an mp4 player before though........

The "removing memory hack" is also a good way of formatting your player too in case there are corruptions in the file system in the player's memory.

Try this as well: http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-pe...rs-vt5595.html

Is it always the SAME mp3 songs that crash and restarts your player?

I have done all the memory hack removal before already. The suspect MP3 songs caused the crashes more often but somehow not at the same spots though ?

It means you have never owned a Meizu. :P It's the only thing keeping these players from becoming perfect, newer versions of the ID3v2 tags and certain encoding settings in LAME cause the Meizu players to stutter for a moment at the end of the track.
