firmware upgrade for no name MP4 player?
Hi
Here are the Player's Technical Specs: 1.5" CSTN LCD display, Memory: 1GB, Cover: Aluminum and black color, USB 2.0. Made in China.
I'm having intermittent issues with player not deleting or storing music properly. Will show the correct amount of songs in RealPlayer but will play less on the actual player when disconnected. I've tried reformatting through Windows and upgrading Windows driver but still having same issues. When I connect the player to my PC it shows as an MTP Player but not with a drive letter.
When I check the About option in the player I see the version as 873.267.412 and when I check Device Manager in Windows the chip is listed as SigmaTel.
Is the version I explained earlier the actual firmware version? Anyone know what is the newer firmware and where I can download it from? When I download it, how do I upload it into the MP4 player? Thanks!
