Folders not in order?
 

I have an Actions 3rd gen iPod Nano clone.

I've got my music sorted neatly - 1 big folder, then another, then the files (obvious example - Artist, then album).

I have a folder with about 66 folders in it (some audio sermon thing I think - I bought this for my mom. I got a real 80GB 6G iPod for myself).

All the folders have numbers in front, then the name, so that they'd all be in order. Thing is, they're ordered like this.

3...63, 65-66, 2, 64, 1

The main and subfolders are in Korean. The menus are set to Korean as well.

Anybody have any clue as to why the three folders are not where they should be?

No.

I have pretty much the same piece (actions 9.1.52 firmware), i think that the folders are organized by the order they are transfered to the device. I'm not 100% certain on that, but i think so.

The base language should be adjustable.

If you go to the SETUP section (purple background with a gear picture), and then menu option 04(language), then choose option 02 (english), that should at least get things readable for you.


Mine was sold as a 8gb, but was in reality a hacked 1gb. You might want to check that yours isn't before you give it to your mom.
