Default MP3 Player Utilities [Unable to detect removable disk]

Background
I bought myself a MP4 player a week ago, and I tired to find out the actual memory size of the player by following the instructions on the topic “How To: Removing Memory Hack”.

I downloaded the software “AMV Convert Tool 4.05 - MP3 Player Utilities 4.05” from the link and installed the traditional Chinese version of it. Upon the completion of the setup, the computer was frozen and I had no option but to cold reboot my computer. After I restarted my computer and ran the software, I received an error message that said “Not detected removable disk! Please check the disk connecting, or reboot system!”. I am aware that my portable MP4 player was plugged in because my computer can detect and access the disk drive with no difficulties.

I suspected that the software was not properly installed; therefore, I uninstalled the software and downloaded the 4.15version of the software and reinstalled it (This time with the English version and without crashing at the end). However, the error message popped up again when I ran the software, and the error message was written in Chinese.

At that moment, I had a feeling that the previous edition was still somehow remained in my computer. So, I did a “system restore” and dated back my computer to a time before I installed the software. Unfortunately, the same error message came up again.

Concern
Since the software is unable to detect a removable disk, I was unable to “slide the Partition Slider all the way to the Right” after I started up the MP3 Utilities Disk Tool. What could I do to make the software able to detect my portable player?

Thank you so much for your help in advance. I will go insane if I couldn't fix the problem!

If that error comes up than that means your player does not contain an Actions Chipset.

Can you please upload a photo of your player.
