Problem to extract 9.1.52 firmware

Could someone tell how to extract 9.1.52 from a properly working MP4?
Currently using s1fwx v3.3 but got the following:

connect to device 'E:\'...
init device...
set device to f-mode...
get info from device...
ic version = 0x0000
storage info = 0x0802, 0x0000, 0x0000, 0x0000
device = 'S1 Mp3 Player'
manufacturer = 'Wilson Co. Ltd.'
bootflash type = 'F287'
brom version = 3.0.80
firmware version = 9.1.52
read boot record...
detect firmware size...
error: The system canīt read from specified device.
disconnect from device...
Press any key to continue. . .

Any advice on how to extract this firmware? I need it to repair a similar MP4 that does not work. And also would like to post my fw to this forum.

Regards,
Sergio

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there isnt a program that can modify/extract v9.1.52 firmware.

Kildar,
Iīve heard the same, there is no application to extract 9.1.52 fw. But even though, I could find that fw in the WEB and in this forum too. How did they extract it?

Hi Sergio1,

The s1fwx extraction tool can do some 9.x.x firmwares but not all due to it's vast variations. The ones available are generally the original ones by the manufacturer themselves.

Have you tried looking for it on www.s1fw.com instead?

Do you mean fw or tools from s1fw? I tried the tool but didnīt work out.
Thanks anyway.

Re: Problem to extract 9.1.52 firmware

Sergio- s1fw tools are... erratic. This isnt a slight on the creator, just a comment. One time i ran the extraction utility on my mpx bout 10 times, error the first 9, error the last, but then it gave me a lot of new information on the firmware. Also- the thing is, even with the firmware, you need to upload it to the player. I dont know what works and what doesnt there- still trying to access my fw, and i tunnel vision on problems, so i burn bridges when i get to them. Sorry, not much help there.

This may not be a firmware problem, but actually a setting. Try going into menu, playback, and putting it on normal; It may be on intro, which only plays the first few seconds of each song. On my mp3 player, menu is accessible through playing a song and pressing menu.
