Blank Screen

I recently got an mp4 player. It was working perfectly fine the last couple of days; however, it now has a totally blank black screen. I can still press the buttons, and the music still plays, but the screen is totally black, and I have no clue how to get the regular screen back. Any suggesttions?

maybe your screen is broken

Hi Alyndra,

Yeh, it sounds like your screen is either broken or the cable that connects it is faulty.

Can you get it replaced under warranty? That would be the easiest solution, otherwise you may have to open up your player.

These display have generally 2 lamps,if their burned just replace then...or the 24Mhz crystal should be replaced!
