Ipod nano clone 8gb - plays 3 songs and dies

The firmware is from the ipod is lkc_9112_01 Date 2007_03_08 Version number is 9.0.50 Date 2006_09_12. I was able to extract something from the thing and found

Device = 's1 mp3 Player'
Manufacture = ' wilson Co. ltd
ic version = 0x7676
brom version 3.0.80

it has a ak1025 process chip.

The thing is plays 3 songs and dies. I would like to know what firmware I need and how to load it. I can not run the exe. on s1fwx_3.3 software. I can only run the .bat files.

I think you might need to get a new battery...

I would highly recommend FORMATTING your player. It sounds like a 'hacked' player where it's been hacked to show 8GB instead when physically it doesn't have an 8GB chip.

Follow the instructions in this post here: How To: Removing Memory Hack.

Let us know if that helps.

I reformatted and found I lost most of the memory. Thank you for the reply.
