ConsumerUpdate doens't recgonise Rockchip player
 

Hi everybody, I need help to find and install a new fw, My mp4 is like the PG5-08GD on tinydeal : http://www.tinydeal.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=262

Here is what i found on the board
rockchip rk2608a-b (On the chip)
htc-039c-rk-v2 2007-11-02 chen
2.83" qvga rev:01
Fw version 00.00.0001 2008-25-02

this is a 8gb mp4 player touch screen with mini sd card slot without camera

When i try to update the player with ConsumerUpdate, i turn off the player hold menu and connect the player to the computer, on the player i saw the screen when he is conect with my pc but on the pc i dont see him, and Consumer don't recognise the player. he said Error: USB device not found.
What should i do?

A little update, i change the usb wire, and now i can update the fw, but i still need help to find the right fw for my mp4. and i want to make a backup for my current fw, please help!

why do you need a new firmware

these players are pretty much on their own and do not have upgrades due to the fact there is no named manufacturer

unbranded products are great and cheap, but the major problem s ou are basically stuck with the firmware that comes with the player as 99% of the time they are not supported.

is you mr player dead???

no he's still alive, just 3 things bug me
1 the batteri is bad calibrate, (is full too the last second)
2 some time the player freeze during a movie
3 bad translation in french

forget that i had update with the fw (version HTC-039C-MLC-080111-EN-2.0V) on tiny deal and it work, yesterday i watched a movie and he freeze, i reboot and all the word were unreadable, soo i had update this morning.
