Hidden Files??

I bought my hubby an mp4 player on ebay...

He was able to load music onto it and listen to it for awhile. Now, the computer will see "removable disk: I", but no files are listed. But, when we look on the player, the files are there.

How can we delete the songs, add new ones, or get this player working again??

Help!

Thanks.

Hi landonator,

Welcome to the site.
Have you tried FORMATTING your player?
It's very unusual that files are not being displayed.

Also, another thing to try is connecting your player to ANOTHER COMPUTER instead. Does it display files on that computer?

Re: Hidden Files??

Thanks for responding...

I have tried to format the drive. The computer doesn't seem to "do" anything when I format.

I have tried to check the disk for errors, etc. and same issue. I can select all options, but computer doesn't seem to do anything.

I have tried it on 2 separate computers.

Any other ideas? :)

landonator , perhaps try formatting with MP3 Utilities Disk Tools instead, the guide is here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html
