Default How To Know When ChargeD?

Hi I bought a Ipod nano clone from ebay it came from hong kong . . Basically in the manuell which seems to have been written for mine as well as another model it says "when it is full charged. The screen with shown "finish charge" . . . only problem is it doesnt say this and ive left it for a very long time.

I have two symbols on the screen with zzzzzzzzzzz going between them? . . my question is how long should it take to charge? and why am I not getting the message, its 4gb and it said the bat should last about 8 hours continous play.

seriously thank you so much for anyones time who reads this it is so deeply appreciated.

Hi *Dre@m*,

I have a few players (look at my avatar) and none of them say "finish charge" on them. Your player might be different.

I've found the best way to tell is by looking at the animation. Usually when it's sharging the battery indicator moves and if it's fully charge, it should stop.

I would say if you are charging it for the first 2-3 times, leave it charging overnight to get the rest results.

Re: 8 hours continuous play
It depends on the quality of your battery as well as what you are doing with the player. If you are playing video files, then it won't definitely last that long as it's got to display the motion picture on the screen which takes up battery power. If you set your sleep timer on your player to turn off after say 2 minutes and leave it playing just mp3 music, then you would probably get the 8 hours.

Hope that helps.
