Default Need a link so I can download music

Hi--I need help. This mp4 player I bought on Ebay came with a cd but my xp doesn't recognize the program and so therefore I can't download music.
Can someone please help me.

The maker is Chinese I think. It has a girl on the video program and she is Chinese. This is all the info I have about it.

2 GB

This is what the sticker says on the back

Please and thank you soooo very much.

Hi traderjosie,

Generally these MP4 players don't need any special software to transfer music onto the player. Not like the iPods and iTunes. Treat the player just like you would with a USB memory stick. Just plug it in, Windows should then recognise it as a removable drive and you're ready to go.

Is there anything specific you want to do with it? Just to transfer music onto it or convert videos?

I see.

When I use the adapter my xp says
it doesn't recognize it. So at this point I am
still groping around in he dark. All I want to do is download music but can't seem to do that.

Oh, I see.
If it doens't recognise it, try using ANOTHER USB cable instead. Sometimes a faulty USB cable can give you the "doesn't recognise" message.
