Default 4GB iTouch copy with memory problem - full memory

I buy 4gb mp4 iTouch copy from ebay, but I have problem with it's memory. When i connect it to pc and try to open the drive it show "The disc in drive is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?". I click on "Yes" button and windows start to format. Then when I upload some mp3, video, picture or .txt files on the drive and try to open them from the player, but it show "Warning! No music" or didn't found them and the player show that there is no used memory(the drive is empty). BUT when I try to record some noice it display "Warning! FULL MEMORY".
Here how the player looks
I think that the model of the player is "Onda" but I'm not sure.
Pleace help me to fix the problem with memory!
Thanks!

Hi dobo_d1,

Has this problem just started or has it started from the beginning since you first got your player?

In your player's menu, go to "Setup" and try to find an item that saids "Firmware Version" or something similar. Post the version number as that will give us a good clue what chipset it uses.

Another thing for you to try regarding your "full memory" problem is a DIFFERENT USB CABLE. The cable might be faulty so not letting you connect to it properly and your computer not recognising it properly. Looking at it, it seems to be a CORRUPTION in your players' memory and a FORMAT should help resolve this problem. If you can get another USB cable then FORMAT your player again, then let us know what the result is, that would be great.

Let us konw.

This problem started when I dosconnect the player without to click on "Safely remove hardware" icon in the task bar (I did this several times and I don't have any problem until now). Then I can't thurn the player on.I push the reset button and it starts but when I connect it to my pc it has this problem with the memory.

I try to update the firmware usnig "ConsumerUpdate3.1.2.0" and "MP3 Player Utilities", but both didn't found the device.

When I go to Settings>System>About it show just:
Ver:00.00.0000
Date:2008-03-17

I think that the player is Onda VX858, VX858LE, VX868, or VX878, but I'm not sure exactly which.

I hope you can help me!

By the way while I search in the internet about Onda I understand that my player couldn't be a real Onda. That's because on the back side of the player's panel have Onda's logo (my player didn't have this one). And when you thurn on the plear it sho Onda's logo (mine just show "Mini mp4 player"). I think it could be a fake Onda!
