All my media has been wiped???

Hey I had put some music on my MP4/MP3 player and i was about to leave and listen to my music, then i pressed a option that said "Card Folder" by accident, and i had recieved an error. Now all of a sudden, all of my files including: .MP3, .MP4, .REC, .JEPG, ect. have been wiped from my device. When I attempt to get into any of the devices functions I get an empty disc sign, and for record i get an error. I noticed that on my PC all of the devices folders have been erased? This is all very upseting and frustrating :( My Firmware version is MP3 PLAYER XIC_7515_20 2007-10-08 9.1.52 2005-01-09 if that is any help. BTW i can't seem to get any MP4 Videos on to my MP4 player, any help with that as well.

try wtih this program RECOVER4ALL V2.26

hello i read the problem with your mp3/mp4 player and i have a solution for you. try with this program, RECOVER4ALL VERSION 2.26, is a recovery file program and you must search this program in the Ares OR Emule, a P2P programs respectively. the program recover4all can recover all archives and files if you can not format the damaged disk in this case your MP4/MP3 PLAYER. IF YOU CAN FORMATED BEFORE OF THE PROBLEM, YOU HAVE A MINOR POSSIBILITIES TO RECOVER THE TOTAL OF YOUR FILES.

DON'T WORRY YOUR PROBLEM HAVE A SOLUTION!

IF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM BEFORE I RECOMMEND TO YOU MAKE A FIRMWARE UPGRADE TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM, DO YOU HAVE THE FIRMWARE OF YOUR MP4/MP3 PLAYER? if you not found the firmware of your mp4 player, is very difficult to help you. sorry men! in this case you must think in the buy of new mp4/mp3 player.

Hi Masteradam13,

I haven't seen that function within the player before where it actually wipes everything off your player though!

You can offoxx to see if that can recover the files.

In the mean time, try creating some folders within your player such as "Music", "MP3", "Video" and "Record" and then go into your player's main menu and see if you get the same errors.

I had some Sigmatel chipset players which required SPECIFIC folders to exist on the player's drive otherwise it will generate errors, so I wonder if you player has that same requirement. Though it does sound strange as your player's firmware tells me it's an Actions chipset player so it's very odd that this has happened....
