Possible battery issues
A few days ago, my mp4 stopped playing. It can play connected to the computer (as a drive, and itself, pressing menu twice and playing). It shows a full battery when plugged into the computer. If I unplug it, the screen goes black, but flashes the hourglass for a couple seconds. I've had this player for a year. Any ideas? Nothing seems loose inside.

sounds like a dead battery.

Re: Possible battery issues
Where could I get a new battery? Any electronics store?

Uxcell have got quite a good selection:-
http://www.uxcell.com/batteries-c-981_1613_1622.html and you get them on ebay. The batteries are usually the same voltage 3.7v but come in different sizes. You will need to open the player and check the size you got now, you will also need to solder the new battery to the pcb. |
