Default Hi.I have a rockchip. And I need help :(

I just got my first mp3 player in the mail today.

It made me quite happy.

But then I went to use it and I got a "not compatible" error from my compaq.

I have tried everything. I've googled the name of the brand, I tried updating the thing but because it's not compatible it doesn't work.

I finally found you guys, but but searched through the downloads and couldn't find the hardware/download thingy I need.

can anyone help me??

thank you in advance.

Hi deedubya,

Not entirely sure where you are getting the error? Are you getting it when you plug in your player into your computer? Or something else?

If your player is Rockchip you could try installing consumerUpdate on your PC.
It should install the drivers at the same time.

When I went to plug in the USB cord it all all good until my puter informed me that there was a compatibility issue.

Also, may I ask where to download the initial consumer update firmware? Because I have googled it and come up with nuttin.

I did try this. But apparently you have to have the initial consumer updater firmware on you PC to do so. This; I do not have.
