My MP4 Player Restarts by itself

I dont know whats going on with my player... well it hitted the ground 3 times... at the 3rd time it came with this restarting issue...
When I press play, next or previous button the player restarts....
I dont know why it does that...
I dont know if its hardware issue or software issue...
Can anyone help me to fix it?

it is the hardware issue and if by luck the flash chip is safe then change the oscillator ,i think that will fix the problem and yes you can format the player from any MP3 UPDATE TOOL to make sure that it is the hardware issue.
