[solved] videos don't play

hello fellows,
I got an MP4 for a gift, the new smart owner erased I don't know what else
beside the demos (music and video)
Bottom line is the device playbacks music,shows photos, radio everything except
it DOESN'T play videos.
I've tried amv, wmv, mpeg, dvix, xvid, avi and all I got is the "Error format"
thing.
any tip will help, resource,software,advise, please HELP!
I tried to upload a photo of it, but some reson I'm not "authorized"
No whatabouts of the devise because I didn't see numbers or letters in,on or around the player.
Should I open it?

No need to open your player.
The player will only accept .avi videos 320x240 resolution, you need to convert the videos first.
