mp4 3rd generation
 

iam not techie minded so bare with me please ,i just bought my child her first mp4 player 3rd generation ,i have put music and photo's on it no bother but when i convert avi file to amv and go to put it on the mp4 iam getting format error ,i downloaded a animme amv file it went on the mp4 player no problem ,so can anybody help me ,thanks

Can you confirm that your player actually plays .AMV video files? Depending on the chipset, some players .avi videos files, some plays .amv, some plays .MTV and some plays .SMV etc.....

Did your player come with a sample video file? If it does, what format is that in?
